When you start with PLAY, everything else falls into place.

More accurately: when you start by figuring out what types of games are fun to play and which technologies make them even more fun and you apply that tech in a transparent, honest, and thoughtful manner, and have it all built by perpetually-unimpressed malcontents with fairly-impressive backgrounds…then everything else falls into place.

Here are those malcontents:

Consortium9 is creating the future of interactive entertainment.

The state of play in the gaming industry is broken, and we aren’t saying anything new by claiming this. From over-funded AAA games failing to deliver on their promise to the new wave of Play2Earn, every game seems to be taking the worst parts of the videogame business and somehow finding new lows.

We’re here to bring back everything that made games fun in the first place. To do away with pay-to-win, play-to-earn, and all the other ways the gaming industry has stripped the fun from play. We’re not here to cynically recreate all their worst inventions with shiny new technology; we’re here to create the world in which we ourselves want to play. That’s why we’re building NOR. A gaming platform built for players, that uses technology in service of play.
